Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the QR Generator web application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you do not have permission to access the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Service provides a free, client-side tool for generating Quick Response (QR) codes from user-provided data (such as URLs, Text, vCards, or WiFi credentials). The Service operates entirely within the user's web browser, ensuring that the processed data is never sent to our servers.

3. License and Permitted Use

The QR codes generated by this Service are provided entirely free of charge. You are granted a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the generated QR codes for both personal and commercial purposes.

You agree not to use the Service:

4. User Content

Because the Service performs all generation locally via the browser's Canvas API, we do not host, store, or monitor the content you encode into the QR codes. You are solely responsible for the legality, reliability, and appropriateness of the data you choose to encode. We bear no liability for the content that you generate.

5. Disclaimer of Liability and Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Service, or the information, content, materials, or products included.

To the full extent permissible by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components. We will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this Service, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

We do not guarantee that the generated QR codes will be readable by all devices or scanners in all conditions. Users are advised to test their generated QR codes thoroughly before printing or distributing them widely.

6. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
