    Upload Your Images

Click the upload zone or drag & drop JPG or PNG files. Multiple files are supported — process them all at once.

  2. 2

    Check Current DPI

The table instantly shows the filename, current DPI, pixel dimensions, and file size for every uploaded image.

  3. 3

    Set Your Target DPI

Type a custom DPI value or click a quick preset: 72 (screen), 96 (standard), 150, or 300 DPI (print).

  4. 4

    Apply & Download

Click "Apply to All" to update all images at once. Then download individually or use "Download All" for a batch save.

💡 DPI Tips

  • DPI change is metadata-only — pixel dimensions and visual quality are completely untouched.
  • Use 300 DPI for professional print, 72–96 DPI for web and screen.
  • Click any thumbnail to preview the full-size image before downloading.
  • Files up to 69 MB are supported — no artificial limitations.

  1. 1

    Upload Your Images

Click the upload zone or drag & drop up to 50 JPG, PNG, or WebP images at once — up to 100 MB each.

  2. 2

    Set Target File Size

Enter a target size in KB (default 50 KB). You can also set max width and height to constrain the output dimensions.

  3. 3

    Choose Dimensions Unit

Switch between Pixels, MM, or CM for the max width/height fields. The tool auto-converts at 96 DPI.

  4. 4

    Compress & Download

Click Compress. A precision binary search finds the optimal JPEG quality level to match your target. Then download your result.

💡 Compression Tips

  • For very small targets (under 30 KB), set a Max Width to help reduce file size further.
  • PNG files are converted to JPEG during compression for maximum size reduction.
  • Use the built-in Crop tab to trim your image before compressing.
  • Results are typically within 1–3% of your target file size.

Everything you need to know about PixelTools and how it handles your images.

No, never. All processing — DPI editing, compression, cropping — happens entirely inside your browser using the Canvas API and JavaScript. Your files never leave your device and no data is transmitted anywhere.
Image size refers to the pixel dimensions (e.g. 1920×1080). DPI is metadata that tells software how large the image should print. A 1920px image at 96 DPI prints at 20 inches wide; at 300 DPI it prints at 6.4 inches — same image, different output size. The DPI Changer updates only this metadata tag, leaving pixels untouched.
Not at all. The DPI Changer only writes a new value into the metadata header of your file. Every pixel remains identical. The file size changes by only a few bytes at most.
300 DPI is the professional standard for high-quality print (brochures, photos, business cards). 150 DPI works for large-format prints viewed from a distance. 72–96 DPI is fine for screen/web display only.
The DPI Changer supports JPG and PNG files up to 69 MB each. The Image Compressor supports JPG, PNG, and WebP up to 100 MB each. Both tools process files entirely in your browser.
Very accurate. The compressor uses a 14-step binary search across JPEG quality levels to land as close to your target file size as possible — typically within 1–3% of the target.
Yes. The DPI Changer supports unlimited batch uploads — upload as many files as you need and apply the same DPI to all with one click. The Image Compressor supports up to 50 images in a single batch.
Completely free. No account required, no subscription, no watermarks on output files, no hidden limits. Just open a tool and use it.
